Roof Inspection

A roof inspection is usually required prior to quoting or implementing any work. The following checks are done:

  • Roof tiles: check for broken, cracked, chipped or slipped tiles.
  • Roof appearance: check for dirt, grime, lichen, moss.
  • Tile pointing: check for damage such as cracked pointing and loose or broken pointing.
  • Roof flashing: check for cracks, breaks, gaps or loose flashing.
  • Barge boards: check gables and roof edges for damaged barge boards.
  • Gutters: check gutters (including valley gutters) for damage and blockage.
